Private Facilitation Explained

At AgriWorks Crop Solutions (ACS), private facilitation is a bespoke educational experience tailored to meet the specific needs of your establishment. Whether you have a small cadre of Certified Applicators of Restricted Use Pesticides or aim to train your entire agricultural establishment, ACS stands ready to collaborate. We work meticulously to identify dates and times that complement your operational dynamics, ensuring smooth facilitation.

Typically, our private facilitation model applies predominantly to agricultural establishments, pest control companies, Certified Applicators of Restricted Use Pesticides, and other industry-related stakeholders. Beyond certified applicators, our courses can also be adapted for non-certified applicators, and some are even apt for agricultural workers at large. Furthermore, we’re equipped to facilitate organization-wide Worker Protection Standard (WPS) compliance trainings.

About ACS Courses

At AgriWorks Crop Solutions (ACS), we design our courses to meet the real-world needs of the farming and agricultural community. We focus on delivering practical information and skills that you can use right away. Our goal is simple: to provide clear, useful training that helps you tackle current challenges in the field.

CEU Approvals and Selection

We’re proud to affirm that a substantial portion of our course catalogue is acknowledged and sanctioned by the Hawaii Department of Agriculture. Such endorsements empower us to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to Certified Applicators of Restricted Use Pesticides. It’s of paramount importance that when participants are scouting for courses, they select one that resonates with their professional aspirations and is congruent with their CEU entitlements.

Group Registrations and Course Selection

ACS simplifies the process for entities aiming to enlist multiple attendees. When procuring seats for a group, it’s essential to pinpoint the exact course structure resonating with each attendee’s requisites. As an illustration, if you’re registering 10 individuals and merely 3 necessitate CEUs, add 3 seats tagged “for CEU” to your basket and 7 of a parallel structure without the CEU notation. A critical footnote: every attendee seeking CEUs must finalize an individual enrollment before the course initiation. Subsequent to enrolling, an electronic form will be relayed to your email to accrue pivotal certification specifics for those desiring CEUs. For delegates partaking in our mainstream training modules sans CEU stipulations, a single enrollment is adequate for the collective.

Outer Island Facilitation Procedures

For organizations located on the outer islands, ACS offers seamless facilitation with slight modifications to our standard procedures. While the course or workshop prices remain consistent, certain logistics come into play:

  • Duration and Timing: Typically, facilitation on outer islands is compacted into a single working day for convenience and efficiency. Our sessions generally commence at 9:00 AM.
  • Travel & Convenience Fee: To streamline the process and minimize administrative hassles, a flat $250 travel and convenience fee will be added to the total cost. This fee usually encompasses flight and car rental expenses. Should the actual expenses surpass this amount, your organization will receive a detailed invoice for the excess costs.
  • Maximizing Value: For outer island engagements, we strongly recommend opting for a Workshop that offers at least 4.0 CEU credits (comprising 2 to 4 courses). This approach ensures maximum return on investment, and the credit count typically suffices to cover the annual education requisites of your certified applicators.

We understand the unique challenges of outer island operations, and we’re committed to ensuring a smooth and beneficial facilitation process. Rest assured, ACS will collaborate closely with your organization to achieve a rewarding educational experience.
